The instrumentation is saxophone, flute, guitar, bass and percussion and the sound is tropical jazz and latin rhythms. It's the joyous feel of "Carnivale in Rio" with those classic Brazilian sambas. It's "highlife and happy feet" with salsa, calypso, Afro-Cuban mambo and Latin rock as well as the romantic sounds of the bossa nova and bolero. Influenced by Jobim, Bonfa, Getz, Gilberto, Sonny Rollins, Dizzy Gillespie, Spyro Gyra and Stevie Wonder.....it's SAMBACOMBO!
